Work Package 3 will focus on developing the governance, operational structure, and long-term sustainability plan for the Health Innovation Observatory – Australia (HIO-A).
This includes establishing a research steering committee, an expert Advisory Committee, and formal terms of reference to ensure independence and credibility. This work package will also define organisational processes for incorporating end-user feedback, develop a business case for enduring government funding, and explore diversified revenue models for future users such as industry and insurers. This will ensure that the HIO-A can evolve into a stable, nationally significant HS function.
